| It is our understanding
that we have to know how serous impact is given to the environment
by our business activities before implementing protective actions.
After two years of our investigation recognizing what is consumed,
wasted to the air or water in the circle, we came to a conclusion
that following concrete action plan is necessary to reduce energy
consumptions and wastes. |

Electricity represents 97% of total energy consumption.

By means of thorough separation of wastes and recycling, we aim at reducing
wastes 6% in 3 years.
4 Reduce hazardous material consumption
TOYOTEC had changed to use organic solvent from hazardous one to harmless one by 2003.
We also have been trying to eliminate banned substances which are designated RoHS and/or ELV
and promote green procurement, environment-conscious facility and office cars
